Sapient Capital Partners is a financial advisory firm that is focused on the unique challenges and opportunities for private, small- to mid-sized companies, with annual revenue between $2 million and $30 million or EBITDA between $500,000 and $5 million, and their owners--with a select group of high-growth and disruptive-technology early stage clients as well.   

Co-founders Brad Cherniak and Kevin O’Neil have structured Sapient to provide to the small- to mid-sized market segment professional transaction and strategic advice of a quality and rigour that has historically been almost exclusively provided to large, mainly publicly listed companies.

Sapient’s principals have over 80 years of collective experience as senior transaction managers and principals that we bring to the table for you and your company.  This market is our strategic core, not a sideline or a “new thing”.   

We are uniquely positioned to assist businesses with growing their businesses, changes in strategy, acquisitions, divestitures and sourcing of capital with the unique combination of operating experience, principal experience and corporate finance advisory experience of our principals.  Sapient’s partners have been corporate CEOs, institutional private equity fund managers and top-ranked equity analysts, as well as senior investment bankers, allowing us to be more informed advisors.

We are structured as a flat organization.  The senior partners you meet are the point people carrying out any transaction work and providing transaction advice, from start to finish.

Our broad experience allows us to understand your day-to-day operating environment almost as well as we understand the current needs and quirks of the capital markets.  Having the understanding of both worlds allows for the structuring of efficient and effective transactions, whether they be financings or M&A transactions.
